Bloom: Light blue with strong yellow signal

Bloom Time: Spring to Summer

Growth Habit: Sword-like leaves. Clump forming, upright, multiplies by rhizomes.

Comments: . Requires consistently moist soil, particularly during flower production. Plant shallowly in well drained but consistently moist soil. Mulch lightly with pine straw. Division renews old stands. Can also be grown in water gardens or ponds.
