Growth Habit: Clumping stalks of long narrow leaves. Upright. Multiplies nicely. Stems bluish-red.
Comments: One of the shorter hedychiums, which gives a neat appearance in the front of a ginger border or nicely in the back of a mixed border. Remove dead stalks in late winter. Cut back blooming stems by 1/2 after flowering for a neater appearance.
