Light: Full Sun or at least 6 hours
Bloom: Slender. Light purple with small yellow signal
Bloom Time: Spring to Summer
Growth Habit: Sword-like leaves. Clump forming, upright, multiplies by rhizomes.
Comments: Requires consistently moist soill, but well drained soil, particularly during flower production. Plant shallowly and mulch lightly with pine straw. Division renews old stands.
