The Demonstration Gardens serve as an educational platform for the community, showcasing ecologically responsible gardening techniques within an environment of collaboration and enrichment. These gardens are situated on the grounds of the Ira Nelson Horticulture Center. Volunteers meet every Wednesday to engage in the maintenance of these planting beds. Accessible to the general public daily from 7 am until sunset, the gardens currently encompass a variety of themed beds, including:
