Become Lafayette Parish’s first Junior Master Gardener! Lafayette Parish Master Gardeners are holding a week long camp during Spring Break from 9:00am - 1:00pm Monday - Friday at Ira Nelson Horticulture Center and LPMGA
Demonstration Gardens. The camp is for grades 3 -5. Campers will learn about plant growth and development, soils and water, ecology and the environment, insects, landscaping, fruits and nuts, vegetable and herbs, life skills and Career Exploration. This special class will invite their parents to graduation on APRIL 9 at 10:30 am during our annual Spring Plant Sale. Junior Master Gardeners are invited to lend a helping hand with the Master Gardeners during the plant sale before graduation. |
